Coincidences get my attention. I see them like a stock tip—whenever they show up, I know something interesting is just around the corner. Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of them, which feels right since I’m standing at a crossroads.
Crossroads can be scary because they signal change. The tricky part about change is that to let something new into your life, you have to make room for it. That means letting go of the old and navigating a period of not knowing before anything arrives.
“Not knowing” is a place our minds really don’t like. We’re so biased against it that we’ll distract ourselves with busyness just to avoid the feeling. Even sophisticated AI would rather invent an answer than admit it doesn’t know everything.
But if you can’t get comfortable with uncertainty, you won’t be able to usher in anything new. When you sit still and look inward, you’ll start to notice what I call “the river running under our feet”—an innate, quiet wisdom that flows beneath your conscious thoughts. It’s an intelligence you can trust, especially when you don’t have all the answers.
And how do you access this? Through embodiment.
Embodiment isn’t about “managing” your body. It’s a reunion of your mind with your body’s deep intelligence. By listening through the body, you dissolve inner divisions and rediscover that you are profoundly connected to yourself and the world. It feels like coming home. It’s a shift from being in control to being in tune with yourself and your surroundings.
That’s what we’ve had to do this summer. It’s been a wild mix of paradoxes.
We’ve left our beloved home in Italy behind—here are our boxes stored in a friend’s villa:

However there is always beauty around—the above photo is taken from the window where the boxes are stored. Our new home, Vienna, is also beautiful. It’s a city I know well. In fact, I’ve written about it in all my books because every time I go there, I end up writing or starting something new.
Looking back, I’ve had two seemingly opposite careers—founding a company that created huge international events and writing three deeply personal books. What I now realize linked both was the body. It’s the secret that helps people connect in new ways, accept changes and challenges, and find peace within themselves, no matter what’s happening.
After a summer of so much change, I’m ready to do more than just talk about this. The world has enough advice. I want to share joy through real experience.
That’s exactly what I’ll be bringing to the next Club L dinner at the Caledonian Club in London on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. I’ve been invited to talk about my new book, Embody: The Power of Presence in an Age of Distraction.
It will be a wonderful evening with a three-course dinner and great conversation—and an introduction to embodiment that’s not about “how to” but about being. Best of all, I’m allowed to invite guests! Here are the Details
• When: Wednesday, 24th September 2025
• Time: 7:00 pm arrival, dinner at 7:30 pm
• Where: The Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London, SW1X 7DR

Not only if the Caledonian Club one of my favorite private clubs in London, the Club L International is an interesting women’s club which was founded in Paris to provide a forum for women to meet in an informal setting. It now has branches in London, Brussels, Strasbourg, Milan, Beirut and Sydney.
If you are interested in attending the dinner, please let the Club L President, Janine Roxborough Bunce, know by writing her on [email protected].
I can guarantee it will be an interesting and engaging evening. I hope to see you there!

Andrena
